The brief
Use artificial intelligence and machine learning to build a product that finds the experience issues costing eCommerce websites their customers.
The recording
- Managed a cross-functional band: product managers, data scientists, data engineers, backend and frontend engineers, DevOps, QA and designers.
- Delivered the entire data system: tracking, web crawling, pipelines into a data warehouse, and the analysis that turned it into something end users could act on.
- Designed high-availability infrastructure and deployed all of it as infrastructure as code.
- Applied AI and machine-learning models to turn raw data into information.
- Ran the team's P&L, including cost control for infrastructure and technology providers.
How it charted
The product went into pilots with eCommerce brands, running the full data system against their live sites to find the experience issues costing them customers.
