The brief

I founded Pametan to fix a problem I'd seen from the CTO's chair for a decade: generalist agencies don't understand regulated finance, and regulated finance can't afford to let them learn on the job.

The recording

• Built the firm from zero into a cross-border engineering business of senior engineers, with no juniors hidden in the day rate.
• Designed a delivery model that takes clients from design partner to MVP, then on to audit-ready systems, without the usual detours.
• Set the security and compliance standards that get client platforms through third-party security reviews first time.
• Built payments, lending, credit broking, open banking, lead generation and regtech platforms for clients across the UK, US and Canada.
• Lead the company end to end: strategy, client relationships, commercial model, hiring, delivery standards and the P&L.
